What are some ways or marketing strategies to promote your podcast?

I find interviewing people with a big following and having them be a collaborator on IG is great. And telling people about it as word of mouth is good too. And I use headliner to create snippets

I’ve come to learn from my personal experience and through all my awesome guests that networking networking networking seems to be the key to business. Including our line of work as well! So I just say hi to the people I always see in passing whether it be at the gym or my office building and the restaurants I always go to and then eventually tell them hey check out my podcast blah blah blah. lol

I've been putting in the work on IG, building relationships and such. I'll post clips to my stories and then ask who wants a link to the podcast from there. It's a slow process, but works well. Plus now I know several of the listeners and don't have to go scouting for them

We tend to immediately think corporate sponsorships, or advertising. But have you considered engaging your audience better? If you're getting 100+ downloads and repeat listeners, then your fans LOVE you! ...and they would probably like the opportunity to talk with you directly. Repurpose each episode into micro content. You can create a blog post, static images with quotes from the episode and animations to promote some interesting content. You can create snippets of video that promote each episode.

Here's the marketing strategy for my podcast. 1. I show up to my livestream/podcast every week. 2. I open a bottle of wine. 3. I drink it and tell jokes to everyone in the chat. That's about it. Works for me.
