Posting your content to these platforms may get you a few new listeners here and there. The big way to leverage social media is by engaging on other peoples post and content. When you post most likely the people who already listen are the only ones seeing it.

FB, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat and Instagram. But I don’t enjoy social media that much. Social media isn’t that great in my opinion. My main focus is always to make the best podcast, talk about the best stuff, make it look and sound the best it can and anything I post be a cool post. And, I never post the same thing across all social media platforms. That is a no-no. I make every post unique to every platform because there are two ways to do things in life. My way, and the right way….and they’re both the same LOL

What do you mean by "tools"? Do you mean platforms? I use every platform I can and see what appears to be the most effective and focus on that one. I can't tell you where your followers will be. I will say that it seems that FB is not a great place to find people who want to listen to podcasts in general. But if you audience is there, you need to be there too.

Tools can be hashtags, advertising, engaging in communities on niche topics, also social media platforms

Ok so all of the above. If you need post scheduling FB Creator Studio has that for free but its clunky and slow. I love the way Later is set up for this, but if you need to post to more than one account from a platform (like multiple facebook pages) Buffer is a better option. Setting up a FB group can be good if you can really focus on only accepting people who will listen. The group would be small but could be strong. I have a large group 14K members but most do not listen at all. So be careful of that.

None. Social media doesn’t typically work as a way to grow your audience. You won’t score an influx of listeners by posting to a profile/page. If anything, you are just creating an aesthetic for people who already listen/follow.

Everything and nothing. 🤣 You have to try all kinds of things to see what works for you, because there is no one-size-fits-all approach. What may work for me may not work for you and vice versa. However, generating word-of-mouth is one of the more consistent ways I’ve seen. Getting people to buy into you and your show and then telling other people about it. Essentially they are vouching for it and reaching people you most likely wouldn’t have. It’s a slow process, but people are expecting immediate results these days and it doesn’t work like that. Plus, there’s a lot of bad advice out there telling you to be in all the places and doing all the things, and that’s one of the quickest ways to burn out.
