Hmmm... I use Google Sheets to track episodes, Google Docs for ideas for upcoming episodes, Google Calendar for scheduling recording sessions, SoundDevices MixPre 10ii w/2x Shure SM7b for recording, Adobe Audition for audio editing, Adobe Photoshop for image editing, Anchor for scheduling and hosting, Facebook for social media, Google Drive for archiving.

I decide what's important to me this week. It's often political or cultural. Sometimes I have a good idea for a story I want to write. I write whatever it is I'm going to record for my show. That takes quite a bit of my time. I record the raw text. I bounce that and put it into a new project where I will add music, sound effects, and do whatever voice manipulation I think is appropriate for the episode. I put my intro into this project. I bounce that. That track goes into my Patreon Ready Template. This allows me to add my "Next Week on Fred's Front Porch Podcast..." Section. I add 30 seconds to three minutes of next week's episode. (I'm always a week ahead.) The template includes my most recent set of "Gratitudes." This is where I thank everyone who has either supported me on Patreon or helped me in some other way this month. That's sometimes as much as 6 minutes long. The template also includes my outro. I bounce that and upload it to Patreon for publication on Sunday night at 7 PM. I put that track into another project, add a commercial for joining my Patreon, and then bounce that. I upload it to Anchor for publication on Tuesday night at 7 PM. That's the whole process. I spend an average of 60 hours a week on my show.

Zoom. Audition. Premiere Pro. YouTube. Apple Podcasts. Wordpress. I wish Zoom had a VU meter to monitor recording levels live.
